Our Junior Company is where young performers begin to develop the skills, confidence and discipline needed to thrive in the performing arts.
Through musical theatre, acting, singing and dance, students receive high-energy training designed to build strong performance foundations while encouraging individuality, creativity and confidence.
The focus
The Junior Company focuses on confidence, creativity and the fundamentals of performance. Students learn how to work as an ensemble, develop characters, tell stories and communicate through movement, voice and performance.
Students also experience both live theatre performance and screen performance, giving them the opportunity to perform on stage in front of an audience and work in front of professional cameras in a supportive environment.
Junior Company is about discovering the performer within and building the foundations for everything that follows.
Volt Middles
12 - 14 years

Our Middle Company is designed for young performers ready to take their training to the next level.
Students work across musical theatre, acting, voice and dance, developing stronger technique, performance skills and professional discipline. Training becomes increasingly focused on character, storytelling, vocal performance, movement and the ability to work confidently as part of an ensemble.
The focus
The Middle Company focuses on technique, versatility and performance confidence. Students are encouraged to develop their individual performance style while gaining a deeper understanding of how performers work across different mediums.
Alongside their weekly training, students participate in live theatre performance and professional screen work, learning how performance changes between a live audience and a camera. They gain practical experience working in front of professional cameras and begin to understand the different skills required for stage and screen.
Volt Seniors
15 - 18 years

Our Senior Company is our advanced training programme for young performers who want to take their development seriously and explore the possibility of a future in the performing arts.
Students receive high-level training across musical theatre, acting, voice and dance, with a strong emphasis on performance quality, technique, individuality and professional standards.
The focus
The Senior Company focuses on professional preparation, versatility and industry readiness. Students are challenged to develop the confidence, discipline and adaptability expected of contemporary performers across stage and screen.
Alongside advanced weekly training, Senior Company students participate in live theatre performance and professional screen performance, working in front of professional cameras and experiencing the different demands of performing for an audience and performing for the lens.
The programme is complemented by professional guest teachers and specialist workshops, providing students with opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners and gain insight into the realities of the industry.
VOLT (PRO)
Volt Pro is our advanced training pathway for young performers who demonstrate the commitment, ability and potential to progress towards professional performance. Every student begins their journey within their appropriate Junior, Middle or Senior Company. Places within Volt Pro are awarded through audition, allowing students to demonstrate their skills and readiness for the additional demands of the programme. Successful students continue to attend their normal 3-hour Company training each week, while also joining their Pro group for an additional 2-hour Pro session, giving Pro students 5 hours of training every week. Volt Pro's work in smaller training groups, allowing our tutors to provide greater individual attention, more detailed feedback and a significantly more intensive level of training. Importantly, all three Pro age groups also come together for shared Pro training. This gives our students the opportunity to train alongside performers from across the Pro programme, learn from one another and develop as part of a wider company of ambitious young performers.
Pro students can expect:
- 5 hours of training every week (Their normal Company training plus 2 additional Pro hours)
- Smaller, more focused training groups

- Additional opportunities to perform and gain experience

Holiday Intensives
Our Volt Holiday Intensives offer young performers the opportunity to immerse themselves in five consecutive days of high-energy, professional-level performing arts training.
Taking place near Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London, each intensive brings together expert tuition across acting for stage and screen, singing and dance, giving students the chance to develop their skills across multiple disciplines in an exciting and supportive environment.
Throughout the week, students have the opportunity to perform on both stage and screen, putting their skills into practice and experiencing the different demands of live performance and working in front of professional cameras.

Our regular weekly training programme is £99 per month, with students receiving 3 hours of professional training each week during our teaching terms. We don't charge tuition fees for school holiday periods, allowing our students and families to enjoy a proper break from weekly training.

Our standard payment option. Tuition is spread across 12 equal monthly payments, making it easier for families to budget throughout the year.
Pay for the Year Upfront: £1,069
Families who choose to pay their annual tuition in full can receive a £119 saving compared with the standard monthly payment plan.
Uniform
All Volt Young Company students are expected to wear Volt-branded clothing to their weekly classes. Every new student receives a Volt Signature T-Shirt free of charge when they join, which forms the minimum required uniform for weekly training.
Students can choose to wear their Volt Signature T-Shirt, or alternatively a Volt Hoodie or Sweatshirt, alongside any of the other Volt student clothing and merchandise available through our online store.
Students should also wear trainers or jazz shoes suitable for the activities taking place during their session. As our classes include dance, movement and physical performance, students should always wear comfortable, practical clothing that allows them to move freely and safely.
